JLS covers an area of approximately 1 million square meters, and owning one set of 369 meters × 102 meters dry dock, two sets of 17000m2 steel processing workshops, two sets of modern painting workshops, each with one blasting and two painting workshop, one sets of 32400 square meters block fabrication workshop, one set of 16000 square meters outfitting workshop, one block pre-erection site of over 60000 square meters, one material/outfitting collection and distribution site of about 10000 square meters, and one outfitting quay of 2200 meters. There are over 200 sets of various shipbuilding professional equipments, covering all procedures of shipbuilding.
