Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Ship Industry Co., Ltd.(hereinafter called "JLS") is located in Penglai District, Yantai City, on the inner side of the Changshan Islands, adjacent to the Changshan Waterway and facing Lushun across the sea. The main waterway has a depth of 14 meters and convenient transportation, without the influence of typhoons, rainy seasons, freezing, and scorching heat. It has unique conditions for ship repair and construction. JLS is a large, modern shipbuilding enterprise with ship repair and construction as its main business, belonging to Qingdao Military-Civilian Integration Development Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called "Rongfa Group") and jointly owned by Shandong Huiyang Group. JLS covers a total area of 1.8 million square meters and has an annual production capacity of one million deadweight tons.JLS is the vice president of China Shipbuilding Industry Association, is the National Centre for National Economic Mobilization, is one of the first group of ship building enterprises that meets with the Industrial Code Requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (Class I), is the "Model Base for Construction and Technology of Ocean Fishing Vessels " in China awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture Fishery Vessel Inspection Bureau. Its technology for designing and constructing new ocean fishing vessels has won the "China Industrial Award."
JLS has one 300000t dry dock, one floating dock with lifting capacity 35000t, one floating dock with lifting capacity 10000t and one floating dock with lifting capacity 5000t. The total length of the outfitting quay is about 3000 m. The special equipment and facilities for shipbuilding, including 1000 t and 500 t of gantry cranes, are complete. JLS has more than 4000 employees, with a complete and professional talent system, which covers all aspects of shipbuilding. The use of international leading design software and precision control software fundamentally ensures product quality.
