At 9:58 a.m. on June 26, 2019, the 60m Ro-ro passenger ship bottom laying ceremony for Xianglong Waterway Transport in Changdao was successfully held in the dock. The leaders of the Maritime Bureau, shipowners, CCS representatives and relevant leaders of the Beijing-Lu Shipping Industry witnessed the bottom laying ceremony.
The success of the bottom laying ceremony is another major node after the delivery of 82 000 DWT bulk carrier, 900GT tuna purse seine ship and semi-submersible intelligent cage platform in June. So far, in the first half of 2019, the task of big nodes ended perfectly.
Warm tips: "Laying the bottom" is also called "getting on the platform" or "big closure". The first section on the berth is called keel placement or bottom laying, which marks the beginning of the overall construction of the ship.
