Rongfa Group: Launching Proactive Flood Prevention Efforts to Strengthen the Safety of People's Livelihoods.

Recently, influenced by the warm and humid airflow from the edge of the subtropical high and cold air, the West Coast New Area of Qingdao has experienced multiple instances of heavy rainfall. In response to the severe flood prevention situation, Rongfa Group has proactively taken measures to strengthen preparations and ensure smooth and orderly safety production within its jurisdiction.
Confronted with a complex and serious flood situation, the group promptly organized a flood prevention safety meeting to analyze the current working conditions and refine response measures for key areas. They emphasized the importance of assigning flood prevention responsibilities throughout the organization, ensuring early mobilization of thoughts, timely arrangements for work, early formulation of measures, and quick implementation of personnel and equipment, all while guaranteeing the adequacy of flood prevention materials to win the battle against flooding.
From July 22 to 23, the area experienced heavy rainfall, with localized precipitation exceeding 50mm. In response to the low-lying terrain and significant water accumulation on major thoroughfares like Yingshanhong Road, Rongfa Group's municipal company quickly activated an emergency plan, forming a flood prevention safety inspection team. They focused on checking various water accumulation points, drainage systems, manhole covers, and rainwater pipelines in the core area of Guzhenkou, thoroughly excavating and clearing areas with poor drainage, and promptly removing garbage and debris blocking the drains. During this round of rainfall, six water pumping trucks, two water pumps, and four support vehicles were mobilized, involving over a hundred personnel in flood prevention efforts.
To address the heavy rain and strong winds, the group's safety and quality department and engineering management department implemented relevant flood prevention measures based on real-time rainfall data, aligning with the company's emergency response levels. They took effective emergency actions regarding the construction site's flood prevention team, emergency plans, material reserves, foundation pit drainage and support, equipment usage, and temporary electricity safety, ensuring comprehensive flood prevention preparations to maintain safety during the flooding period.
