New Vessel Is Delivered: Jinglu Shipyard Delivers Seventh 1400TEU Container Vessel

On the 5th of August 2024, Jinglu shipyard successfully delivered one 1400TEU container vessel named "ELBINSEL" to German owner United Shipping Companies. This is the seventh vessel in the series of ten built for German owner.
During the construction period of the "ELBINSEL", the Jinglu Shipyard construction team, on the basis of comprehensively summing up the construction experience of the previous ship, insisted on scientific planning, process forward, process optimization. The vessel's successful launch integrity achieved the highest standard among the series, creating favorable conditions to shorten dockyard construction cycles and laying a solid foundation for smooth and efficient future deliveries.
It is noteworthy that during the ship's outfitting process at the dockyard, the Jinglu team successfully conducted sea trials in just 55 days, overcoming challenges such as high temperatures and heavy rainfall. Following sea trials, the ship was delivered a mere 8 days later, setting a new benchmark for Jinglu in terms of delivery efficiency. This accomplishment reflects the dedicated efforts and hard work of all those involved in the project at Jinglu, earning high praise from both shipowners and inspectors.
This series of vessels have won high recognition and favor in the shipping market for their excellent transportation efficiency, economic performance and environmentally friendly technologies. Under the same tonnage, they consume less energy and have higher sailing speed. This ship type mainly serves the European Baltic Sea shipping area, with an overall length of 169.95m, a beam of 26.9m, a deadweight tonnage of about 20,250t, a depth of 14.85m, and has obtained the Ice Class IA class notation. It is capable of navigating in ice-covered areas and can accommodate various standard containers such as ISO 45, 40, and 20-foot containers, as well as reefers, and can also handle extended 21, 22, 23, and 24-foot containers.
